Meet our new Board Members

“We are delighted to confirm the appointment of two new board members at Wirral Methodist Housing Association. Following a rigorous recruitment process, the Board has appointed Lisa Roberst and Sarah Jane Saunders to the position of Non-Executive Director.

Wirral resident Lisa is a consultant with leading UK property experts Savills and brings a wealth of Asset Management and compliance experience as well as extensive Housing Association knowledge through her work at Riverside.

Sarah Jane has most recently been a board member at Torus and was chair of the Torus Foundation. With extensive housing management experience across Merseyside Sarah Jane brings a strong tenant focus to the Association.

Chair of the Board John Donnellon said, “We are really pleased to appoint two exceptional new board members with strong local connections.  Both Lisa and Sarah Jane will bring great experience and skill to improve our services to tenants”.

Lisa said “I am delighted to accept this appointment and to support the WMHA Board in delivering safe, high-quality homes and services for local residents. It is a great privilege to contribute my experience and I am excited to work with the Board and the leadership team”.

Sarah Jane said “Having started my housing career in Wirral back in 1995, I’m really excited to be on the board of WMHA and able to give something back to the area I love”.

In addition, the Board has also recently appointed the Chief Executive, Paul Carhart, to the Board.”
