Skip Day Helps Residents Clear Unwanted Items

Today we were out and about supporting residents with a skip clear-out, helping to remove unwanted items and create cleaner, safer outdoor spaces.

The initiative was greatly appreciated by those who took part, with several residents sharing their feedback:

“I'm clearing it for my boyfriend's mum, but it's made such a difference, it feels like we have a much bigger garden.”

“My wife and I are disabled and struggle to get things to the tip, but this is a godsend. Thank you.”

“This is great. These items have been in the garden and I've not been able to get rid of them for a few years. I really appreciate this, thank you.”

It is fantastic to hear how much of a positive impact the skip day has had on residents, helping them dispose of items they would otherwise have struggled to remove. We would like to thank everyone who took part and helped make the day a success..
