Starts at Home Day 2025

Friday 29th August 2025 marks the Starts at Home day. This is a national campaign which celebrates all Supported Housing across the country. Wirral Methodist Housing supports this campaign and today we visited one of our Schemes in Spital. We know that supported housing helps thousands of people across England who need help to live independently and live well at home but funding has been cut and these vital homes are at risk of closure. The residents of this scheme moved into their new home early in 2025.

This year, we’re calling for the government to #SaveOurSupportedHousing.
